SADA HP SCHOOL ANNOUNCES DATE FOR ANNUAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Sada Higher Primary School will host their annual Excellence Awards on 15 October 2015. We launched the awards at the school in 2013, donating all trophies, certificates and medals. As stated in our previous post, SHPS is a historic school. We have been supporting the school with the plans of developing it into a leading centre of academic excellence and leadership development. 

The awards cover all seven learning areas and non-academic programs. We also have two Legacy Awards we sponsor; the Nopasika Mgqwetho for Excellence in Music Award, named after the legendary Ms Mgqwetho who was the school's national winning choir masters for over three decades, and the Thomas Mthimkhulu Mpondwana Leadership Awards named after the school''s founding principal. SHPS is the first school in the rural Whittlesea area to ever host awards of this nature. We are honoured to have been part of this journey. In the history of the district, it is the first time that we have awards sponsored by an organisation.

HAPPY TEACHERS DAY

The United Nations' (UN) World Teachers' Day commemorates the work of teachers and their contributions to society. It is observed on October 5 each year. 

We would like to wish all teachers a Happy Teachers Day. We thank you for serving the most important citizens of our nation - our future. We appreciate the sacrifices you make. You serve as educators, counselors, parents and care givers. We see the hardships you work under. Continue being a beacon of hope. 

A special Happy Teachers Day to all the teachers in our partner schools. Through our Educator Support Unit, we will continue serving you through the various programs we continue improving for your benefit. Our communities are nothing without you. Thank you, for everything.
